High School Internships

Maydm provides girls and youth of color in grades 6-12 with skills, experiences, and connections to pursue careers in and change the face of STEM. Our interns are female students and/or students of color who are juniors in high school and above and have previously completed at least one of our immersive programs or equivalent education and experience.

How to Apply

Participation in Maydm's internship program is by invitation only. Maydm staff will send an interest form to students who are eligible for an internship in December of the upcoming internship year, prior to the start of the application period. Potential applicants then receive an invitation to apply. Applications for our Maydm Internship Program open every December for invited students and are due in January.

Who is Eligible?

Rising high school junior, senior, or graduating senior
Age 16 or older by the start of the internship
Previously completed at least one of our immersive programs or equivalent education and experience
Meets additional requirements as defined by participating internship sponsors
