Description
Seize the chance to shape your future in STEM as you bring your creative ideas to life, foster critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and teamwork. The Creators Lab program is designed to allow students the time and resources to do a deep-dive into an area of interest within STEM. This summer, build your technology skills, create something cool, or work on solving a problem with STEM.
In this program, students can expect:
Instructor-guided work time to generate ideas, select a final project idea, and identify the tools and supplies needed to get your idea off the ground
Lessons to help you learn to manage your time, budget, and resources
Time to learn and build on your project idea on your own, and in collaboration with other students
Practice adapting and pivoting when an idea is not working the way you envision
Final presentation and celebration of your work with your peers
Successful completion of program objectives will be rewarded with a stipend, recognizing the hard work and dedication invested in your projects. Exceptional participants (who meet the age requirement) will be invited to apply for our Internship Program in the following year(s), gaining invaluable experience for future endeavors.

Lunch will not be provided. Please bring in lunch, or with your parent's permission, you can grab lunch from somewhere in the area.

Time: 9 am - 3 pm, Open Office until 4 pm for extra work time and collaboration (or just hanging out)
Maydm never wants finances to be a barrier to participating in these programs. For that reason, we ask families to consider how much they can contribute towards the program’s value. Creators Lab is valued at $630. Upon acceptance into the Creators Lab program, we ask that you make a donation to cover some or all of the program value, if you are able. Donations are not required to be a part of this program. Families will be sent a link to make their donation upon program acceptance.
